i'm trying to play guild wars on my new gateway mt3707 laptop

    pentium dual t2070
    1gb ddr2
    ati 200m graphics
    vista premium

whenever i run gw...i was wondering why the game would constantly studder for every x seconds...with this spec..it should run the game with ease.

well i found a problem but i don't know how to fix it..

the problem is that vista sets gw.exe (guild wars executable) priority as "low"

i try to set it as normal...it sticks until get back into the game..

when i alt out from the game and check my priority again...it is set back to low again...

plz give me advice..(issue with the new ati graphic driver perhaps? i have the newest one..)

It is adviced not to use the latest drivers if you have old hardware. For example: I stopped updating my driver for my X700 since 6.2.

So I guess you should deinstall those drivers and install old ones. Or you might want to check out Omega drivers.

    Good luck.
