    does Asus F8SV-A1 have a GDDR3 or GDDR2 graphics card? Same question for the Ausu F8SA-X2.

    If it has 512MB video memory then it's certainly a DDR2 card, no GDDR3 variant exists with more than 256MB of video memory for the 8600GT.

    GDDR2, like Harleyquin said, but that by no means makes these laptops a slouch.
