    it might be a dumb question but you know how much a card is different by just one letter

    The Geforce Go name was retired with the 7 series, so whoever's using it is just using the wrong name.

    well, them are based on the same chip, but Gefors 8800GTS is higher clocked 8800GT while 8800m GTS is a little stripped down version of 8800GT. So them have kind of big performance diffrens as i understand it.

    yeah,notebook 8800gts is weaker then desktop one.

    ... the 8800 GTS is not a "higher clocked 8800GT". It has 128 stream processors to the GT's 112.
