i reformated my inspiron 8200, and i totally forgot how old my graphics card driver is.
ive done some research and
should i unistall the old drivers first then install the new one?
ive downloaded the latest drivers from dell, (i think)
how do i get the nview desktop manager back?
is there a forceware for my geforce2 go 32mb?
the lappie runs games decently enough, im not a buff on detail, as long as its decent and fun.
thanks for the help
cheers!

Uninstall the old ones completely, then install the newest ones you can find.
I'm not sure if the latest forceware drivers work on the older Geforce Go cards, I think so.... -
You dont have to uninstall the old drivers, if you do your card wont work, thus you wont see anything on your monitor. Just download and install the new one. It automaticaly overwrites the old driver, so you dont have to worry about it.

I would just install the dell ones. Won't they contain the nView desktop manager?

thanks so much for the help. i downloaded and installed the latest drivers from dell for my nvidia geforce2go. only modded forceware is supported and the latest dell drivers come with the nview desktop manager.
its just that when you update your drivers be sure to turn off everything including the Antivirus off. it can mess up with the drivers big time.
thanks for the hints. -
geforce2 go driver or forceware?
