    Hi everyone

We've all read about lots of people OCing their 8600m gpu with more or less luck and more or less scores in 3dmark06 which is all great.

What id like to know is if people can feel and see it in games? And is it actually all better when Ocing and playing for some hours, or does it actually just get slower in the end with more stuttering and wierdness? :)

Please report your experience, I myself think its hard to tell if its actually worth ocing the gpu overall.

    Thanks.

Well it depends on the game/situtation

In Cod4 singleplayer I get about 3-4 fps more if I overclock my card which is nice , but if I try to overclock during a multiplayer game it crashes after a few minutes !

Ah, CoD4 might be worth overclocking for single player, but multiplayer with the 8600m GT should stay between 30-60 FPS at stock speeds :)

I have. As long as you have a good connection the FPS shouldn't go below 30. The graphics are scaled down from the graphics in singleplayer to improve performance.

I get a decent 5-6 fps boost in Quake Wars overclocking my 8600M GT.
