    i have a gateway mx7525

    specs:
    Mobile AMD Athlon 64 4000+
    Processor Speed 2.6GHz
    System Memory (RAM) 1GB
    Graphics ATI RADEON X600
Video Memory 256MB HyperMemory (total of local and system memory used by GPU; 128MB local onboard memory)

I'm using the ATI drivers that came with my machine (version 6.14.10.6534)

i've successfully ran battlefield2 but framerates get really choppy when there are vehicle battles.

what drivers or additional updates/modifications should i get to maximize my preformance?
    thanks!

Lower the settings for BF2 perhaps, it could get less choppier.

Besides that, an upgrade of RAM won't help that much....

I'm assuming all drivers are to the latest?

Please post your settings and resolution.

Yes, those drivers are the latest.

Be sure to turn off any texture filtering (antistrophic) and Anti-ailasing.
