    I'm thinking about a macbook, and was wondering if its gma950 can run a few games. would it be able to run Half-life 2, Gmod 10, and far cry? And I know this is a bit of a stretch, but would oblivion run under Oldblivion?

    integrated video will usually suck at games.
    it really comes down to what you consider acceptable performance
    you'll always be better off having video with dedicated memory.

    HL2=========Low to low Mid settings (this is a hardware friendly game)
    Farcry=======Lowest~Low settings
    Oblivion======No. the game requires hardware T&L, which the GMA dose not have,so it will not launch and even though oldliviion might start the game, you will probably only get around 10~15fps

    Half Life 2 runs on minimum on dx7 mode easily playable, Far Cry just about borders on playable at lowest settings also. No idea about Oblivion with the OldBlivion mod.

    Also, there is no much sense in playing such hard core game with brilliant realistic graphic on integrated card. Find at least some 7300.
