The Go 74000...the graphics card of 3000 A.D.
Just kidding.
Anyway, the Go 7400 is should run those games without issue. I don't know what those acronyms mean (and indeed I haven't gamed in a while) but as long as they weren't made this year, you should be fine. -
Yep the Geforce Go will play most new games at mid level settings without a problem.

acronyms mean:
call of duty 2
need for speed
counter strike: sorce -
i am buying a new laptop , but i have found 2 kind of nvidia:
1. 128M geforce 7600
2. 256M geforce 7400
which is better
please hellp! -
The Go 7600 is better than the Go 7400 anyday of the week.... hmm... besides Sunday...
Of course, the Go 7600 is faster and the Go 7400 has 128MB of dedicated, the other 128MB are shared. -
The 7400 should run those games fine on mid settings, and even higher for some. But it can never be better than the 7600 regardless of how much memory it carries.

get the 256 because it has 128 dedicated and 128 shared... other wise you will have 64 dedicated and 64 shared. -

Those are two different GPUs - the Go7600 and the Go7400. As was mentioned earlier in this thread, the Go7600 is far superior to the Go7400 in performance. -
you can also get geforce go 7400 with 256mb dedicated.. That's probably the way to go
But a geforce go 7600 with 128mb ram...
Then it's probably some "LE" version or something, and it performs pretty much like a 7400, I think.
Name some prices to compare, and let people suggest you other systems maybe. -
There are no Go 7400s with 256MB of dedicated memory.
And, the Go 7600 will always be faster than the Go7400.
Period. -
Yes it's better, but not really that faster. A lot of Go 7600 with 128MB vram are 7600SE, with a 64bit bus. It happens the same with some X1600 with only 128MB dedicated.
go 74000
