Huh? The driver has NOTHING to do with the clock speeds. If you look at the list, the highest scoring notebooks are using the Stock Dell Driver. I personally prefer the 2D quality of the dell driver vs the XGM driver.

OCing this card is very, very hassle-free.

Hassle-free? Thats good to hear, I might think about OCing it after I get it (after some trial runs to see how it plays without OCing obviously).

Sorry it was late..Oblivion..."Huh? The driver has NOTHING to do with the clock speeds." I think I see their all OC'd???

What I was loooking for is anybody seeing big or little jumps in FPS rates in real world games, not just Synthetic bench marks?

I downloaded the boot ISO but curious as to the safety of using this as well. At least from your posts I see your pretty sure of the process.

    As a tech, I question all.. :)

i have a 7800 in my e1705, and overheating isn't really an issue. even when i overclock it it has never shut down on me. thats not to say it doesn't get hot though! it BURNS in fear!!! i would upgrade to a 7900 though, for only 100-200$ more everything about it is better, power consumption, heat, performance, EVERYTHING!!! go for the 7900!
