Hey guys,
I was interested in getting a laptop with a 7950gtx. Do you think there will be significant fps improvements with the 8800 card? I have heard rumors that Nvidia is having trouble with this card and may not get it out until the end of the year. Is there a massive change in core speed and pipelines with the 8800 that would make is much faster then a 7950gtx? Any thoughts on this matter, thanks.

There's really no way to tell right now because that the Go8800 series cards are a long ways away from release. However considering the performance gap between the desktop 7900GTX and the 8800GTX, yes I would say that there will probably be a noticeable performance increase.
There's been no word on the specifications of the mobile 8800. It will be cut down compared to the desktop because of power requirements. -
If they come the go 8800's they will or should kick the 7950's ass real hard so to speak. I own the desktop 8800GTX and it's a kick ass card, just one thing that it's unified shader based makes a really interesting card.
go8800 vs. go 7950gtx
