Im looking for fps games that could run good on these specs:
Pentium dual core 2.1ghz
2gb ram
Gma 4500
No horror games please
If youre stumped, rts would be fine too(already have warcraft 3)
-
With that you're basically looking for games released in 2004 and before. You can try Return to Castle Wolfenstein, or if you like FPS/RPG try Deus EX (its an excellent game).
-
I recommend Halo 1. I still play that today and used to play it on Netbooks fine.
-
Those Half Life 2 games should work. They are very well optimized.
-
I would suggest Half Life and System Shock 2.
-
Quake 3 and friends. There are freely downloadable games like Nexuiz, Warsow and Alien Arena that are based off the open-sourced Quake3 engine (thanks id Software!) that should work alright.
-
Aliens vs. Predator 1 & 2 (originals) - horror but still good
No One Lives Forever 1 & 2
Portal
Half-Life 1 & 2
Rainbow Six 3: Raven Shield (more tactical shooter, but still fun)
Operation Flashpoint (again, tactical shooter, but awesome)
Quake Live (online browser shooter based on original)
Age of Empires 2 & 3
Civilization IV
C&C Generals + Zero Hour
Take a stroll over to gog.com. They have lots of classic games for $5.99 or $9.99 and most work decently with integrated graphics. -
I tried playing Halo on my laptop (T3400 and 4500MHD), and even on the lowest possible settings (looked terrible), I got a slide show.
-
Oh yeah, forgot to add the original Far Cry runs relatively well on a decent CPU with GMA 4500.
-
Team Fortress Classic
Sim City 4/Rush hour -

You could try Combat Arms or Soldier Front. Both free.

The original Call of Duty and it's expansion: United Offensive will run quite nicely. First played the original CoD on Intel GMA Extreme Graphics 2 lol.

If you have an expresscard slot and wanted to expand your gaming possibilities to an external LCD, consider a DIY ViDock setup. Eg: US$190 HD5670 or US$250 HD5770/HD5750. Could probably do a s/h HD4670 for US$150.
NFS Most Wanted will run OK with your IGP. -
Quake Live.

Lol extreme indeed... i swear i'm nver using an Intel GPU ever in my life to play games
This might be a good option if ur using ur laptop as a desktop replacement... it will increase ur gaming potential fourfold...
good fps for integrated graphics
