just got a dv4000 with the x700 (PM 2.0Ghz, 1Ghz DDR2 533 RAM). I am not a gamer, but would like to pick up a game that I could play occasionally. Also, I will not be plugging any controllers in this, so it would have to be a game that can decently be played with the notebook keys.
Any ideas?

Very few things can be comfortably played on laptop keyboards. Your best bet is to get an external mouse and play a game that relies mostly on the mouse (like a strategy game or "Sims").
Then again, I did manage to play quite a bit of GTA:VC and GTA:SA on my laptops, without external keyboards or mice most of the time. -
I second the thought of using a mouse, I just bought a Microsoft cordless notebook mouse to go with my machine, plugs into a USB port... works great. I play Call of Duty, Halo, Unreal Tourny, Need for Speed and some arcade games like millipede. You need to decide what kind of games you want...first person shooters, stratagy, racing games, simulators etc. Go to a Big Buy or Curcuit City and see some in action.

That's the very one. You can get it at through Sam's Club for $26 and change. Works like a champ, I agree with the good reviews given it by Laptop and PC magazines. Even comes complete with a AA battery.
good game for notebook
