I have a RADEON X600 with 256mb Series in my PC. I am purchasing a Sony SZ680 this December. I would just like to ask if the NVIDIA® GeForce™ Go 8400GS has the same capabilities, lesser or better compared to my pc GPU, the RADEON X600 with 256mb Series.

The 8400M-GS is essentially a two generations newer version of the x600. In newer (shader intensive) games like Oblivion, UT3, and Crysis, it will be much better, up to 5x or so. However, in older games it will likely be about twice as fast.

It's hardly going to be able to run Crysis though ;| My 8600GT struggles with it, it's brought me to accept 15-30 fps as playable :x

My 8800 GTS runs at around 30fps. The demo is highly unoptimized ... I hope.

The 8400M-GS can play crysis fine (albeit at low resolutions).
