I have a Toshiba M15 with a 32 meg Geforce4 420 go card,Is it possible to upgrade to a 256 meg card? I'd like to upgrade to a much newer card if this can be done, and thanks for looking at this thread.

When a notebook has a removeable card, it almost always uses some proprietary (aka...company secret) interface and pin out. So unless that card was offered with a newer GPU at some point by Toshiba, you are almost guaranteed to never have an upgrade path.

I wouldn't bother with a 256MB GF420 card though, it is not going to double your performance. GPU performance is not directly related to the amount of memory installed.
