I'm planning to add another vcard. I'm just concerned about the temperature. Will it be safe?

The system is designed for it, you get a 2nd heatsink and it uses the third fan so I am confused as to why you are asking?

Thanks for the reply. I'm getting 80c on a single card. My idle temps are around 50c.

80c is a bit higher than usual but not something you want to worry about. What is your ambient?

I'm not sure about my ambient temperature. I will update once I get home. I'll try to repaste and see what happens.

Another question, 1 gtx 680m has 4gb vram. Adding another one will give me 8gb vram?

the data is mirrored in the vram between the cards. so all 8gb can be utilized, but there is only 4gb of effective vram since both pools of memory are going to be storing the same data.

Update: I have successfully overclocked my cards. Here are the results.

It's reaching 93c while runnning 3dmark11. My room ambient temperature is around 28-30c.
