People were saying around 50FPS maxed out in the beta, so I don't think the 7970M will have any problems running the release version.

It ranges from 40 to 65, averages around 50 something, everything max with v sync on.

When I had my 7970m, the enduro issue is most apparant when you try to lower your settings. EG: bf3 ultra settings you get ~45 fps but if you change it to medium, your still not getting that big of a boost in fps. But it ran fine in ultra. From what I read, 7970 should run the game fine as long as your ok w running it at max settings at all times.

even on ultra when there is heavy action on screen like when looking over the map from a high position will destroy my fps and lower it to 24-21

I was getting high 30's low 40's, but then it overheated while playing Battlefield so take that with a grain of salt.

You can definitely enjoy the game. I have maxed everything and my resolution is 1920 * 1080p with vsync. In some spots of the game it drops to around 33-35 fps, but usually it runs between 40-60 fps ;).

The numbers i posted above(40 to 65, average around 50) are with clevo 7970m so yes enduro is on, still working fine. Big fights or no, i have a 3720qm with overclock and throttlestop on, this might help too maintain a more or less stable fps.(since the game relies on cpu too),

M17X R4 with i7 3610QM and 7970.... everything maxed. Averaging around 60 FPS most of the time.... when there's a dynamic event going on and there's tons of casting/mobs/players, drops to low 40s.

Completely max'd haven't seen it drop below 50 yet, usually sits at 60 though with v-sync unless a large event is taking place.

after suffering with enduro i cant believe that gw2 dont dip under 30 with all your reported fps :D , but i ask again is anyone getting low fps "like under 30" at max settings with high number of people at once on screen in events??

7970m with no overclock and 3610qm cpu, and honestly it sits around 50fps most of the time. I tried lowering settings but it doesn't actually make that much of a difference either. Every time i pop into lion's arch where all the portals are, my frame rates stutter and drop to around 25-30 fps suddenly when i first spin the camera around but then goes back up again into the 40s/50s.

I dont get it, if i run max settings on GW2 with my 8180 which has 6990m in crossfire, 8gb ram, and i7-2670 i only get like 30 fps.

I ran 3d mark to check it out and i got

    Overall: 21798
    Graphics: 22951
    CPU 18942

so i dont understand why my numbers are so much lower than all of yours

Because GW2 isn't optimized for Crossfire or SLI atm. Wait for better driver support.

My 7970M and 2920XM run this game with everything maxed out between 45-60+fps. I'm loving these cards and this game. Just wish I had more time to play :(

What system do you have? If enduro is enabled, that may be your issue.

Enduro isn't the issue here, even with low utilization I'm pushing past 60fps most of the time

Depending on what system you may have, enduro may be the problem. I think in some AW models, enduro isn't switching correctly, hence why most have just disabled it.
