    hey guys, i wanted to get the half life 2 platium package for xmas, but i need to find it in a store. ive searched, but cant find it in any stored. anyone have an ideas for me?

    Ummm...Best Buy.com has in-store pick-up...Circuit City-same...EBGames...otherwise if you look online it is easy to find cheap with cheap shipping and fast. Hope this helps.

    I dont think you are able to buy that in stores. The package is only offered through steam. What you do is download steam, then go to the store and buy it via a credit card. Then steam will download all the game files for you to play. I am pretty sure this is the only way you are able to get the platinum package. I believe now they are calling the 'Source Premier Package' or the 'Valve Premier Package'. You can get more information here:

    ok, i just noticed most places have it preordered. im gonna pick up game of the year edition at eb, which has hl2, hl 1 single player, hl deathmath, and cs:s.
