    i have a acer aspire 5929g laptop

when i like to play halo 2 online sometimes it is getting really slow.and when i play or try to move or shoot with halo i see that the other players is walking faster and i can kill them because halo is slow.

i when i am dead i can see my player name and a red bar on the right side
with only one red line signal.

normal de bar is green and i have 6 green line, the i can play realy fast.

what is the problem? is it the amount of processes thats running at the background of vista, do i need to make more space in my ram memory

or it depends on how much software programs that i have on my acer?

    can somebody help me ?

    thank you

but only my internet is more quicker and my windows start up is faster but it dont work faster with halo 2

does it have to do with tcp port or something

I've never played Halo 2 online but it simply sounds like your ping is too high in some games, hence the lag, I'm sure the bars you speak of are an indication of your connection.

    i had halo 2 vista,
the bars indicate how your connection is.

    are you on wireless?

what location are you from? if you are in uk and playing in a usa server then your ping will be higher etc etc.

*ping = how far you are away from the the server that is hosting the game, the lower the better.

I wonder if the tuner didn't screw up something in you networking settings.

hi ayle uhhhhhhhh did you use it also vista tuning that the name of it ,i bought it at media markt . well before my acer was realy slow and i also uninstalled a lot of acer software thats makes a lot of problem with other software.

i unstalled everthing from acer and i am now just using windows vista home premium. it works a lot faster now. so i saw this vista tuner in the shop and used it my pc is a lot faster now.then before and no problems with blue screen or other junk.

i saw that vista tuner had disabled some services. like send error to microsoft if a programs not working and remote acces ,also windows media center etc
    i dont have problems

i have a question vista tuner has a optiion to free ram memory you can choose 50% to 100%

i never used it what happen if i press the button on 100%
