I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling rivatuner 2.05 several times, and I still can't get hardware monitoring to work. Every since I started using 163.69 drivers, rivatuner just seems to not recognize my 8600m gt. I don't have any problems with stock drivers, it only happens when I upgrade to 163.xx drivers. Yes, i've used driver cleaner, and uninstalled/reinstalled the drivers correctly. Does anyone have this problem?

mxxl, i really don't know why u would have such a problem. try using atitool, it does detect the temperature as well as riva.
i currently have 163.71 and did various up/downgrades and have no problems whatsoever.... hopefully, u'll be able to solve ur problem :)

Just downloaded atitool, hardware monitoring doesn't work for that either. I also recently installed 163.74 and the problem still occurs.

man, i don't know what can be wrong with ur system then... maybe there's something else u r missing? as i've said before, i install/reinstall drivers quite frequently on my 1520 and didn't encounter such a problem yet.
