hi, i was wondering how much perfomance will i have in this graphic card, and if it would perform the same the 4600 in laptop and pc, because i saw this card runing at 50 fps in gta 4 in a i7 desktop with a 4600. i was intending to play gta 4 in low-med settings. Am i too optimistic or it is worst than i think it is?

    Intel HD Graphics 4600 - NotebookCheck.net Tech

seems to do okay on low settings with most low end games games except for the brand new demanding ones. Obviously does better with an I7 than the I5. usually get anywhere from 20-55 fps depending on the cpu paired with it at the lowest settings.

Is a dedicated graphics card out of the question for you? Also things will depend on your screen resolution. The better the res the worse the game is gonna play. I can't see getting more than 30-50 fps even with the I7 on most 3d games.

seems to be possible according to this video, but he overclocked everything and is still only getting 30 fps.

You will be able to play some games on low settings but don't expect any miracles.

GTA4 is a no go, as it requires a quad core CPU and such is a desktop i7. Mobile i5-4200M is a dual core CPU with Hyper-Threading. GTA4 will not run good on it, regardless of the GPU you pair it with.
