    my little bro is buying an acer 4920g with a hd2400 xt and t7500 or an asus f8sg with a 9300m g and t2370. i know the acer has a better cpu but which has a better gpu?

    The 9300M G seems to come out better in benchmarks, not hugely but there is a margin there. However, the 9300M G is based on the G84 core which it would seem is one of the cores affected by Nvidia's recent design flaw.

    Having said that, the Asus will likely be better built overall. In terms of all-out gaming power it's a close call.

    but one thing you need to keep in mind that, they are not gaming cards. if you have new releases and future games in mind they are not enough

    hmm.. looks like the link to the graphics cards listed by performance has been taken out of the sticky...

    but, as the others have said asus will have a better build quality but then again that nvidia 9300 *might* be flawed (nvidia really hasnt admitted anything about if the cards are actually flawed or not yet)
