hey guys. i have this overscan problem when i connect my dv2500t to my hdtv using hdmi. i cannot see the start button at all.

my tv's native resolution is 1024x768 and even if i set my comp's resolution to my tv's native resolution, the overscan problem still exists. in fact, the overscan is always there for every resolution i set on my computer. any way to solve this?

i tried to search the forums but couldnt find the answer.

my tv is pioneer pdp-435hdg. my computer is dv2500t with nvidia 8400.

i also realised that normally my laptop's monitor's refresh rate is 60 Hz (for all resolutions). but when i connect it to my tv using hdmi output, the highest refresh rate it can get is "30 Hz, Interlaced". how do i get 60 Hz refresh rate when i have connected it to my tv? do i need to get new drivers for my nvidia 8400?

    pls help! thanks!
