    Hi, i recently got the comp in my sig ( :D :D :D ) and want to try overcloking it, but the bios is locked, i have tried coolbits and it doesn't work. I have heard that it can be reflashed so it can be overclocked. how safe is it to reflash the chip, if somthing goes wrong, can i reinstall the drivers/ OS or is the whole system toast? How can i reflash it? thnx.

    hmm, I think that may void your warentee, generally messing with the clock speed is a bad idea on a laptop (espically one as nice/expensive as yours)

    @tangent

    you can overclock without entering BIOS through programs, but why would you - you seem to have a top of the line notebook...
