help with batman arkham asylum ... :(

so i got my copy of the batman game ..... works great but it wont save my progress .... at the start it asks me to update my windows live which then gets stuck at 99% and i have no idea what to do .... is there any way i could manually update windows live .. i mean not in game update .. PLEASE HELP ME !!!!!!

This is a common problem, I had the same issue and checked the forums. Just let it go, it appears to get stuck for a long time at 99%, but if you leave it, it will finish, can take 20 minutes or more from that point.

I had this problem too. I tried a bunch of stuff and can't remember which worked so here's another suggestion, if downloading the update manually doesn't work.

1. Close the game
2. Open GFWL from your Start Menu
3. Try updating from there.

 

I had this problem with GTA4, you have to just let go, as said below, eventually it will finish.
