    hi!!

i just bought a vaio with a intel 950 integrated

    have some questions....

    1) Can't find anywere how much ram i have shared with the 950... windows vista is confusing me... how can i find it?

2)How can i share more memory? i was thinking about sharing 244 mb(i have 1gb)... Tried Bios but couldnt find it...

    3) Is there a way to upgrade or insert a decent graphic card?

    thank u!

1 & 2) I'm not sure. But I think the amount of maximum shared memory cannot be changed (it's set at 224megs).The integrated GPU will take as much as it needs(and it's 224megs not 244MB's).
    3) I'm sure you cannot.
Sorry if I haven't been much of a help.

    1. Check the site where u purchased it from.

    2. It depends on how much the GMA950 can share, usually its between 128-224. Also, its almost virtually useless to share more memory, the GMA950 is the worst integrated solution (recently, aside from the GMA900), so you wouldn't see any performance increase, and the sharing works effectively where, GMA will ONLY share more WHEN necessary.

    3. No.
