    half life 2: deathmatch
    half life deathmatch: source

    I have the top one, but what's the difference... I asked all my friends and they have no clue

    hl2 deathmatch is the multiplayer for half life 2 ie better graphics physics etc

    hl deathmatch source is the multiplayer for the first half life ie its graphics its physics etc

    hl2 deathmatch source is the multiplayer for the source version of the first half life.

    hl deathmatch is the multiplayer for the non-source version of the first half life (the original)
