Bought NFS: Hot Pursuit and the GTA IV complete pack. GTA runs great on my system @ medium settings on 1280x720. NFS: HP, not so much though. It runs a bit choppy even on the lowest settings @ 1280x720.

I now have 118 games on Steam, lol.
Bought Just Cause 2 for $7.49 a day or two before the sale, too. Resisted buying all the DLC for Mafia II and NFS: Hot Pursuit today as I've already spent too much money!
Think about it though. I got what? 30 or 40 games and 15 or 20 DLC packs total for $142.50.. had I been on a console (or bought these games when they first came out) I could only buy 2 games for that much (and still have a bit left over). -
-
Dawn of war II: Gold Edition, 20 bucks on Steam. Bad Company 2: Vietnam for 5 bucks and Specact kit for free with EA coupon(Thank you NBR!). That's all I wanted for the holidays.

yes to whoever asked. Just cause two is quite fun to play around in.
-
I didn't buy anything but then I have discovered some seriously epic Cnc3 Mods. I am hooked on '' The Forgotten'' mod right now. I am waiting for the release of Tiberian Sun Rising and Renegade X. No need to buy anything right now since I already have so many unfinished games as well as quite a few Steam ones I haven't even installed.
I hope most were not like me though and I imagine many purchased a lot! -
Alright. I've got $14 in my Paypal account that I can throw away. What game/games do I buy.

AaAaAA!!!
Bully
Fear

Awesome collection of games were on sale! Unfortunately I already had the big name titles so couldn't fully take advantage of sale opportunities. Ah well, 2011 is looking epic for games! (not looking forward to the possibility of pouring endless hours into creating perfect autoexec.cfg files for crysis 2) -

Is GTA IV better than or similar/about the same as Mafia 2? I bought Mafia 2 and it's a really great game. Especially the play boys throughout the game. Classic stuff
.
-
I haven't played Mafia II, but from what I hear about it, GTA IV is better provided your system can run it fluidly. With both expansions, it's a whole lot longer (I've probably logged 30-40 hours in the game so far and I don't even think I'm 50% of the way through, though a fair amount of that was exploring and general messing around).
And now, a list of what I've bought this holiday season:
GTA IV with both DLCs
Mass Effect 1 and 2 (I've... played them but never technically "owned" them)
Wings of Prey
ArmA 2: Operation Arrowhead
Operation Flashpoint 2
Alpha Protocol
Global Agenda
My list seems a lot shorter than some other people's. I kept waiting for Force Unleashed 1 and 2 to go on sale, but it dodn't happen. -
I went crazy with steam sales. I would have been crazier but i just bought a new momentus xt or i would have done worse. I bought:
AAAAAAAAaaaAAAaaaaaaaAAA! A reckless disregard for gravity
Amnesia Dark Decent
Bioshock
Crysis + Warhead
GTA 4 + Episodes
Mirrors Edge
Stalker: Shadow of chernobyl + call of pripyat
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic
Super Meat Boy
The Witcher
I payed $61.29 all together
It should be noted, I have several of these in retail, but im selling them because I much prefer steam. bioshock, crysis (not warhead), gta 4 (not episodes), the witcher, and mirrors edge -
steam: falcon64z8
I dont remember everything, but I got the following:
Lara Croft: Guardian of Light
Indie Shooter Pack
Mafia DLC: Joe Adventures
Global Agenda
Super Meat Boy
Shank
Mass Effect 2
The Witcher -
holy cow, my steam folder is 424gb !!
-
STALKER CoP
STALKER SoC
Supreme Commander 2 + Expansions
Lucasarts Jedi Knight Bundle
Far Cry 2
Hitman Collection
Serious Sam Gold Pack
Indie Flight Pack
Splinter Cell
Splinter Cell Chaos Theory
Splinter Cell Double Agent
Dragon Age Origins - Ultimate
Overlord Complete Pack
Indie Flight Pack
Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising
Wings of Prey
Several I already own on DVD/CD, but for a few bucks might as well get them digitally too. -
Careful selling those, or you'll have some new buyer pretty angry with you. I'm pretty sute GTA is tied to a Rockstar account you would have already created.
-
Selling what?

4. Neverwinter Nights Platinum Edition

I got a ridiculously large amount of games. I feel like a fool buying so many games at once, but for several reasons I wasn't into gaming these last few years and I have a lot of catch up to do.
Trine, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and Super Meat Boy will have to wait until the next sale.

- Burnout Paradise
- Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones
- Spore Complete Pack
- Mass Effect 2

- Tropico 3 Gold Edition
