    how do i check my framerate?

    i am playing CoD2 and AOE3 and have no clue how to check my framerate while in game. please help.

    You can download FRAPS, a FPS indicator for every game in the world or just go to console in the game and typr the FPS command what ever it is. Google the command you want.

    Download & install, then minimize it and it will sit in your system tray. It also has a benchmarking feature.

    if you have an ati card you can also use ati tray tools. With that utility you can see your fps too.

    in some games you can type /fps to show them :D I remember doing that in quake3 and diablo 2 i think

    Yeah, like in battlefield 2, it's renderer.drawfps 1.

    Quake III is cg_drawfps 1 I think, same goes for all games running on the QIII engine like Enemy Territory, Wolfenstein, Call of Duty, Soldier of Fortune 2 etc. FRAPS is just so much handier though, go for that.

    Save all that comands and download fraps!! it will work for anything!
