    how do i increase my dedicated graphics memory

    does anyone know how to increase dedicated graphics memory....im usin a fujitsu siemens esprimo mobile m9410, 2gb ram, dedicated graphics memory is 64mb but available graphics memory is 812mb. im usin an intel 4 series express chipset family

    Its an Intel IGP and what they mean by "available graphics memory is 812mb" is that it borrows memory from the system ram depending on load.
    My suggestion would be to upgrade the system ram from the 2gb up to 4gb.
    You might also need to install 64 bits Windows to fully use the extra memory.

    already w7 64 bit

    8GB

    really excited of this works

    i also have 1.5GB available, but only 256MB is dedicated :|

    You can't increase graphics RAM, nor will you see much improvement by adding faster system RAM. The 2008 macbook I believe has DDR2-667MHz RAM, and fastest you can get is DDR2-800MHz, which not sure if the system will even take advantage of that speed.

    In any case it won't make a lick of difference.

    @hothead 88 - Assuming this is a Vista machine 4GB will help your system significantly even if you don't install 64-bit. But don't expect miracles for 3D performance.

    i mean on of those metal macbooks running ddr3 :)

    Won't matter much to be honest. It will use dedicated GPU RAM unless it runs out of it then it will use system RAM but then it will be like using an IGP because system RAM is significantly slower than any dedicated GPU RAM.
