I don't know about the PC version's "port" quality, but I played R6V2 on the Xbox360 and it's incredibly short. I finished it with a friend in about 4-6 hours.
-
Yeah people say singleplayer for R6V2 is 6 hours max. Assassin's creed will triple that at minimum. Multiplayer is where most of your time would be in R6V2 so if you don't do that you'd miss most a lot.
-
You can expect 8 hours of single player for Rainbow Six Vegas. Timeshift is not a very good game. So don't waste your money. -
Timeshift... Meh. Not a great game. Some interesting concepts but really.... skip it.
I've heard of some bugs in Assasins Creed, but don't know much about them. I just started playing it on the 360. Pretty darn good game. -
Thund3rball I dont know, I'm guessing
Timeshift for half it's original retail price is a fair game. As said it has some neat mechanics and such but kind of lacked in really doing something with them. And the storytelling was actually terrible. Most of the time I had no idea what I was really supposed to be doing but I would be progressing? However, it wasn't bad for a fun romp. The gameplay was fair and got better later on. The default controls were the suck so I customized my own and that helped. It's also more fun choosing your time powers not using the "F" key for everything. I played it though all the way and will probably do so again.
Gameplay 7.5/10
Storytelling 5/10
Graphics 8/10
Art Direction 8/10
Overall 7/10 -
thx alot mates.. how about rainbow 1? alot ppl complaint about bad port but what do they mean by bad? anyone has the idea?
-
Assassin's Creed does not have much bugs, the one u heard abt is probably of early pirated copies, so the one u will get wont have bugs. Vegas 1 is an incredibly bad port dont get it, timeshift haven't played it and vegas 2 I heard is quite short....and as u dont want multiplayer i suggest Assassin's Creed, it will get a bit repetitive but it takes long to finish and is quite enjoyable
-
Still, I'd get this one out of those 3 (but why can't you buy any other games?) -
Assassins Creed took me about 10 hours, but just as Shambles.ch said, after 3 hours you have seen everything. It is very repetitive. Eagle Point view, than investigation and than the kill
-
Iceman0124 More news from nowhere
The kills are where the meat lies though, they usually tend to take place in unique settings and you have different options available as to how you want to go about them. Its a "good" game, I feel like I easily got my moneys worth.
-
yea, coz those 4 games i haven try it out yet.. done wif bio, crysis and fear..
thx everyone..i think i gonna get assasin and vegas2.. -
rainbow six vegas gave me a serious headache when I played it the first time (also the last time). And I am talking about only 10 mins game play here. Never touched that game again.
-
never tried vega 2 but 1 was pretty good.
For AC, if you are not a fan of these kind of role playing game you would be bored half way through the game.
btw nirvana your avatar 's hotnoticed you changed pictures of the same person for several times
how good are these games?
