    I think the act of shooting someone in the face will be more impactful than a bit of pixelated blood; of course, I could be wrong.

    To be honest there's not that much blood in those games. Ok maybe there can be a bit in HL2 but it's usually not red-coloured anyway. Now if the game was FEAR on the other hand...

    Is there a way to turn up the blood in CS:S and HL2? I mean really turn it up like TFC with gibcount all the way up (or, as I liked to call it, the meat geyser effect).

    fear is awesome. and i dont know why anyone would want to disable blood or let their kids play HL2. its pretty violent with the ragedoll physics. but i wish there was gibbing in HL2 like in Fear. blow people in half with shotguns. OMG I CANT EVEN IMAGINE.

    if you wanna turn it up (well its sorta turning it up) then apply like a skin thing from fpsbanana. here i'll give you a direct link so you dont have to search around. it has different ragdoll effects as well as blood effects.
