What mouse are you using?

Doesn't the MX518 software have mouse acceleration settings that would be able to force it even if the game doesn't work? Beyond that you really don't need mouse acceleration since the Mx518 has 3 DPI settings. I find that manual settings work better than mouse acceleration for FPS gaming.

More to the point, why would you want mouse acceleration when gaming?
-
If you really must have it, though, and the in-game settings aren't working, try going to your Documents folder, and the BFBC2 folder inside of that, and open up GameSettings.ini in Notepad or Wordpad, and set "InputAcceleration=1". -
It basically makes you less accurate while moving + quick ADS firing.
It is a lose,lose situation really. -
i agree.. mouse accleration or more DPI doesn't help..

Edit: well going into the gamesettings file I already notice an "InputAcceleration=1" entry. Only thing ingame the mouse acceleration is not check.
Also for those asking me why I want to enable it. I've already read alot of people bashing the mouse acceleration and I've had it disabled since day one, but even with it disabled the turning or "aiming" speed of the mouse is terribly slow and sluggish to the point of being frustrating. I tried to play Call of Duty again and because I "own" in that game and the mouse is super fast and responsive, I want my mouse to be the same in BFBC2. No I haven't played with the logitech's DPI settings and maybe I should but I'm a simple kinda guy who just wants to jump in the game without tweaking things...Did I just say that? -
If it's too slow, acceleration will not help. What mouse acceleration does is change the speed of your cursor depending on how fast you move the mouse. Without acceleration, if you move the mouse three inches slowly, the cursor will move a certain amount of pixels. If you move it three inches very quickly, the cursor will still have the same displacement.
With acceleration enabled, if you move the mouse three inches very slowly, the cursor will move a certain distance. But if you move the mouse the same three-inch distance at a higher speed, the cursor will go much faster and up much further away than it did when you moved the mouse more slowly.
So, with acceleration, your aim is not only affected by where you're moving your mouse, but how fast you're moving it, which tends to throw off your aim since you can't get an accurate feel for your mouse, and you'll constantly under- or overcompensate for motion.
If you feel the mouse is too sluggish, keep acceleration disabled and just turn up the in-game mouse sensitivity, and/or your mouse's DPI.
Here, have a look through this:

It's a guide to disabling acceleration and setting your optimal sensitivity. When you first launch the game after this, your sensitivity will be almost zero. You can fix that quickly by opening your options in-game and adjusting your sensitivity. -
Get a cheap $10 mouse instead. it will have built in acceleration, LOL
