    I have the latest beta XP drivers for x3100 and i'm wondering, how can i turn off the vsync?

    nvidia control panel. for ati cards they're disabled by default. when you play a game you can turn them on or off.

    I don't think you can in a generic sense. However when you play games (the ones that will run on an x3100) you can always set vSync for the individual games, either as an in-game setting or modding the inf file.
