well actually i have the HP L2000, but it's the same thing.
the AMD laptop with the radeon 200m graphics!
i noticed on the HP website it has pretty old drivers (around 9 months old.)
how can i update them to the newest.
my laptop arrives in about a week. I'm gonna format straight away to get rid of the bloatware, and i've had trouble in the past with mobo drivers that you didn't get directly from the laptop's website
    thanks for the help guys

i actually just read about how you can install the ATI mobility 6.2 (by the INF choosing update driver, and not just clicking the .exe)
i know the omega's are also at 6.2 (i use them for my desktop) but it comes with extra software i don't really care for, and could be considered bloat (i guess i could choose not to install it)
so, do you just have to click the .exe on the omegas for them to work? no messing with inf??
i won't really be playing games much (but, i just want the latest drivers!)
so would you recommend the omega's over the official mobility 6.2?
    thanks for the exprestise guys.

sorry for the list of questions, but since it's actually an ATI motherboard, don't i need network/sound drivers...etc...
i have an nForce2 Mobo for desktop but have to install the Mobo drivers to get network/sound etc...
do i have to install the the hp 200m drivers, and then the omega's on top?
    thanks again

You just click the .exe to install the Omega Drivers, although as always you should uninstall your old ones first (Start->Control Panel->Add/Remove Programs->"ATi Software uninstall." Then reboot when prompted).

Your sound and network should have seperate drivers, so simply installing the Omega drivers should be sufficient (it was for me).

with the amounts of people with this laptop, there should be more info about it.
my laptop comes in a week.
    i can't wait.
i'm gonna format straight away and install omega's
    thanks again for the help!
