    iBUYPOWER CRZ-92

    Intel Core 2 Duo T7700(2.40GHz)
    15.4" Wide XGA+
    2GB DDR2 667 160GB
    NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT

can I expect to have CoD4 or the witcher running at close to highest settings on this?

Yes, you can. That will run all games on high except for Crysis.

ibuypower is a terrible company. So realistically, you'd be able to run CoD4 and the witcher at pretty high settings for about 3 weeks. Then your laptop would probably suffer some kind of critical failure in which case you wouldn't be running anything at any settings. :)

No such a minor difference in clock won't have a significant impact on performance at all.
