    i Need help with Nvidia

    hiya i have a laptop and i had nvidia before on my computer
    but after my laptop crashed and everything was brand new reset on the
    laptop i got something else i don't know what it is

    i don't have the nvidia anymore and if i try to instal it it says:

    nvidia setup error

    the nvidia setup program could not locate any drivers that are
    compatible with your current hardware
    setup wil exit

    and when i do start > run> dxdiag and go to 3th tab

    i see this:

    main driver : ati2dvag.dll

    ect....


    what can i do i want my nvidia back i need it to play my favorite game!!

    if youve got ati/amd card now then sadly you cant use nvidia any more.

    will reply again when i get a chance

    You can't install nvidia drivers with and AMD card.
    That's why you get that error.
    The dll you posted from dxdiag shows that you're running an AMD card.
    What happened exactly to your laptop?
    Did you RMA'd it? Has anyone changed your original configuration?
    Can you tell us which card you have currently installed?
    You can see it under hardware management.
    AMD cards need AMD drivers and they're not nvidia in any way.
