    okay2. heres my pc specs.

    intel pentium 4 1.70 GHz
    geforce 6600 gt 128 mb
    640 mb DDR SDRAM = 128 + 512

i can launch the game. i tried to play with high and low setting. both looks fine. :)
the problem is the laggyness that occurs. im planning on upgrading my Ram to 3gb. would it solves my problem? or is it because of my processor? i cant afford a new processor cause its kinda expensive.

    Guys. PLEASE HELP!

I can't believe you're even able to get it to play at all with that setup.

Dead Space PC requires a minimum Pentium 4 (2.8ghz) to play. Here are the minimum system requirements: http://tinyurl.com/7q54u8

    Processor: Pentium 4 2.8Ghz or Equivalent /
    Display Card: NVIDIA GeForce 6800 256MB /
    ATI Radeon X1300 XT
    Memory: 1024MB
    Free Disk Space: 13GB
Operating System: Windows XP / Vista

Your CPU isn't strong enough, nor is your GPU. That it's loading and playing at all is a wonder in itself.

This is one reason I switched from PC gaming to consoles a few years back. Less hassle - you know what the system requirement is all the time with a console game.

    Sorry dude.

ngahaha. i dont believe it either. i can launch the game! XD
my 6600 gt seems to work fine playing dead space. even with high setting.

but still. if i upgrade my RAM, will it solve the laggyness? cuz i cant, i really2 cant afford a new processor nor a console game.

RAM is the least of your worries..you ask for advice then "dont believe it" ? lol...listen no offense my friend, but your setup is simply not powerful enough to play the game with no lag. Period. The other posters were 100% spot on. Your cpu and gpu are simply not powerful enough. You're lucky it loads ands plays at all. Theres a reason why they list minimum and recommended requirements on the box - unfortunately your setup does not even meet the minimum, forget about recommended. Good luck to you :)
