If you don't know what you're doing, don't do it ;)

Do you think you really need to overclock it ? (especially on a laptop).
I don't really know about rivatuner because i use ATItool (works great with Nvidia GC too).

But the way is still the same :
overclock a bit, 'stress' the system to check stability, overclock a bit , etc ...
    (check temps too !).

It will reduce the life...by about 2~3years if a serious overclock.

No matter you push, it will reduce life.

If you want to overclock then you need to keep a close eye on temperatures (monitor your temps!!).

Heat will cause it to die even faster -_-

Although your card may still last 2+ years when decently overclocked. But if you go for gaming you will probably be having a new notebook by then

naaa ill be keeping this notebook for many years, so i guess i wont overclock, i have a ps3 for high end games, i mainly play MMORPG games on comp and my notebook handles them very well, its just for cod4 i have to play on low settings to get 50fps if i go high i get drops to around 27 sometimes
