lol, I really like how you explain things : ) btw before 2 days from now I was knowing nothing at all on this, thanks to your posts that I followed and this nice form, it's like a school of knowledge: )
I see your point very logical & valid (go less ram & storage, and then upgrade later) take the full advantage of the 6700K from the beginning.

It was not clear for me at star the difference between these two processors till now (thank you). So, let's grab the DM version and join your P7xxDM club :)
I should order it today and the ETA of arrivals to my country 6 Nov, so I'll keep you posted once I have it in hands in-case if you still need to do some more tests/benchmarks, which I'd be very glad to help.

Thank you Jeebee, really very much appreciated,

This is what various OEM manufacturers think about overclocking of the processors in 2015. MSI; A phenomenal 30% hefty overclock... (from stock base 2.7ghz) with i7-6820Hk. Easy Overclocking with MSI SHIFT Technology, LOL. Dell use another explanation; Dynamically Overclocked up to 4.1GHz. Pretty hefty right? With 1-2-3 or 4 cores ? Have Oem's forgot what turbo boost is now? MSI's overclock of the i7-6820Hk is phenomenal and one of the highest I have ever seen. Up 0.1Ghz. This is what we call a decent overclock :p.

Look! They said "full-throttle" gaming! They're advertising how BGA CPUs work!

Also, 3.7GHz is a piece of crap considering what we had before. The freaking 4910MQ was 3.7GHz at STOCK.

As you can see; the world goes forward. The i7-6820HK is clocked at 2.7 to 3.6 GHz (4 cores: max. 3.2 GHz, 2 cores: max. 3.4 GHz and the rest you know. It may be possible that i7-6820Hk is perhaps the best BGA processor we've seen ;). I wonder how this processor work max overclocked and with max overclocked desktop Gtx980 Sli in a Msi Gt80 and 330W psu.

well, I recall Prema saying Clevo expects 6820HK to clock in at 4ghz. Clevo might have the best cooling among all OEMs for this proc

Yeah. But what happens after 2.5 minutes with maximum load?

GT72 cooling is best for the BGA systems as far as I know. But a decked out Clevo is cheaper than a decked out MSI, and a P775DM or P870DM which might cost similar prices will flat out be the better buy~

LMFAO this is hilarious, that GT72S with 240w PSU LOLOLOL with a laptop 980 and 6820HK, MSI "not recommanded going over 37x multiplier". thats a nice overclock, thats slower than my turbo boost on 3940xm, gj. so far no info about it ever going over 42x for 6820HK, maybe their way of new "overclocking" means a higher turbo boost on all cores and stuck at ceiling of 42.

clevo's laptop is the only way to go at this point.
