Is there a way to.. make .iso files of all your games so you don't have to insert a disc to play a game everytime.... /that would work right???

I have this problem with losing all my boxs, cd cases, and even cd's :D.

    thxn.

ediT: it wouldn't be like... i'm copying the cd so it's a copyright breach or something right?

It's legal for backing up your disc as long as they are not intent for commercial use or give away. As for iso file, no it won't work. The only way to avoid inserting CD every time is download the "no-cd patch" from the third party.

As long as you own the game, I believe it is legal. Using an ISO will not work, oyu would have to get a no-cd patch like Nirvana said.

Only old games, which lack no-CD protection, would work without some sort of patch/executable to "hide" the fact that you're not using a CD from the game. As long as you don't distribute the .iso, it's perfectly legal.

.ISO file will work 95% of the time if you know what you're doing.
Use a virtual dvd drive program such as daemon tools. Enable securerom or whatever "copy protection" method the disk uses.
Since some games need the cd to be in the same dvd drive where you installed the game, uninstall your game first, Rip the game in .ISO, reinstall the game. In theory it should work.

    Use daemon tools.
    That works great.
