I have a thinkpad R61 w/ integrated graphics (X3100). When I play games like madden 08, I have no problem, but when I play other games like Brian lara cricket, the screen turns black and a bubble comes up stating the the igfx driver has stopped responding. I am running Vista home premium on 1gig of ram. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Reinstall/update your video drivers.
For Vista 32, the download is at:

For Vista 64, it is at:
http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/MIGR-67940.html
You might also want to check for a patch for the games the are affected. -
Didnt work, actually made it worse. Thnks anyway for your help. If anyone else has any tips, plz share, otherwise ill just assume that the integrated card, the drivers, or the limited amount of ram is to blame.

Hmm...if the drivers made it worse, you may want to use system restore to roll back the driver (start -> all programs -> accessories -> system tools -> system restore. Today's date should restore the old driver).
Have you checked to see if the affected games have any patches available? -
naw, there are no patches.
igfx driver has stopped responding, but recovered- what to do?
