i just got this hp laptop with the 1750 nvidia intergrated gpu and was wondering if its possible to increase the dedicated vram.i think now it has 64 deditcated.i did see it somewhere, but forgot where now.it came with 2 gbs of ram.
edit:
total available graphics mem 559mb
dedicated video mem 64mb
sysyem video mem 0mb
shared system memory 495mb

Sometimes you can change the amount of shared v-ram in the bios, but you have to check to see if your bios version supports this.
-
v-ram?! r u sure u're not talking about agp aperture size? u can't increase the size of the video ram u got, unless u r really friendly with ur hands and know lots about messing with electronics, etc.
-
ur card supports turbo-cache as far as i can tell. that means that it can use up to 495mb of system memory for its purposes.
-
Check the Bios. If it can be done that is where unless Nvidia has a program like ATI's Catalyst.
-
well no you cannot add memory to a video card even if it is integrated its sort of impossible, unless you some how know how to make video cards....but i think you can change the shared memory for sure
-
Now before you say that is not dediated, I know what you mean. But it is memory only for the IGP and has direct access to that memory without using the CPU so it is dedicated and that is what it is called. Marketing? Dishonest? Maybe. -
o i know...that turbo cache hyper memory b.s.....if i didnt know anything abgout graphics card liek before i would think im getting a hel of a deal with there marketing ploys
-
its in the bios like on hp6000 series with the 6150go and it will top off at 128. u won't see much of a differnce, bacause it is shared maybe a max of 5 fps.

thikn about guys with 64mb of vid ram with ati 200m. how would they play bf2??
yeah.. hypermem to 125mb which allows them to meet "requirments" and play the game
you can change your shared ram on the bios. you have options to choose 6, 35mb, etc. don;t put on all shared.. it is going to suck your ram and slowing you down in process.
increase vram on intergrated gpu
