Before I installed from laptop2go, I was able to OC my card to w/e frequency I wanted. Now I installed a new driver, which has increased my performance with the stock clock speeds. The problem I'm having is whenever I try to change the frequency and apply the new settings, it automatically reverts back to the stock frequencies. I'm guessing there's something thats not letting those options be changed.
The new driver: http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=13742
i'm also curious to know if this driver is better: http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=13793
the date says 4-12-07, so it's older, but it's the newest driver? I don't get it![]()

that driver would freeze my pc. i had to go into system recovery to get rid of it, and i reverted back to 162.18 or whatever. i think thats right.
anyway, i have an apple, so who knows. -
It's a bad idea to oc anything in laptops. If you damage something, which will most likely happen being that laptops are already doing what they can to dissapate heat in a confined space, then your warranty is voided and can cause expensive repairs and you usually are not getting that much of performance increase.

i know what i'm doing don't worry.

yeah sorry if I seemed a little hostile, lol. I just don't understand what would lock me out of the the options. With my old driver on stock settings it performed worse, but I was actually able to OC it.
