    In the 2 notebooks I'm deciding between, one is x3100, the other is ATI 1150
    as far as integrated goes, is one really better than the other?
    no gaming.
    your opinions will really help me narrow down my choices.

    x3100 has better battery life and its good for everyday use or watching dvd and etc..

    Yeah, Intel is always a good choice if you aren't doing any 3D intensive things like gaming.

    Get X3100. The barely noticeable improvement in 3D intensive tasks from the ATI isn't worth it.

    The X3100 smokes the ATI 1150 in every way. No contest.
