I don't think that games would run very good at all, certainly not a playable levels.

Any unreal tournament should work. Even UT2004, but thats with lower settings and res. SO if you plan on playing those choose medium settings and a low res and test until you find the sweetspot of performance and playability. As far as anything else I doubt youll get much running, Im sure games pre 2003 will run ok, and rts never really require too much video(minus the new empire earth and AOE3). SO to recap I hope you're a retro gamer like me, cause not too much will work.

Actually the 950 isn't bad at all. It is roughly equivilent to the NVidia 5xxx series. So anything that runs on those cards will run with the Intel.

    I feel like hitting you.

I know people who play bf2 with an Nvidia 5xxx card on low settings.

Try running bf2 on a 950 and see what happens.

GMA aint all that bad. I'v played games like Warcraft III, Quake 4, NFS: Most Wanted, Battlefield 1942 and the graphics were better than on a Xpress 200M.I play Quake 4 at low settings, and NFS:MW at medium and the others at high :D

I played BF2 for a while on my desktop with an AGP 4x 256mb 5200FX. It was on 800x600 on all low and it still only got about 25fps. Thats playable for some people, and was for me too for a while, but thats really really bad performance. My friend has a 950 in his E1505 and he can max out The Sims 2 on it, but thats a pretty low end game.

I have the GMA 900, and can tell you it is worthless for gaming...just don't count on the GMA 950 (or any intel part)...

    Current Notebook: XPS M140 w/ GMA 900, purchased 11/13/2006
Looking for a new notebook with anything but intel graphics!

Most worthless $1200 purchase I EVER made...

ibmps3cell DOES NOT know what on earth he's talking about. I'll re-write his info for you guys to get a more clear picture. (Also, he has an Intel Extreme Graphics 2 on his desktop, not a GMA 950).

    fable (Yes)
    kotor (Yes)
    kotor 2 sith lords (Yes)
    empier earth 2 (Yes)
    star wars=empier at war (Yes)
    star wars bf2 (Yes)
    BF2 (IN YOUR DREAMS!)
quake 4 (Yes but very laggy)
doom 3 (Same as quake 4)
