I have a Acer 6594g laptop and when i got the laptop new i saw a program that allowed me to choose ATI or Intel gpu.

However, when i did a fresh reinstall and installed both drivers i couldn't find that ability anymore. Now the ATI can't be detected even after installing the driver.

Does anyone know how to get the intel switchable graphics setting back?

    Thanks in advance.

Did you install the stock graphic driver from the Acer website for your notebook.

I don't have an Acer but on my Alienware with switchable Intel vs. AMD GPU, I believe I have to use the stock Dell drivers (that include the Intel and the AMD drivers) to have the switchable program feature.
