    is intel x3100 DX10?

    is intel x3100 DX10 or DX9?

    According to Intel it does support DX10, but drivers to enable the feature won't be available until Q1 2008. So right now it's effectively DX9.0c. It won't have the power to run games in DX10 mode anyways.

    I think Commander Keen should run pretty smoothly on this if you don't push it... :D

    Q1 2008 will see a replacement of the x3100, along with new processors.

    That's not true. Montevina isn't expected until Q2 2008 with 1067MHz FSB Penryns and DDR3. What's coming in Q1 2008 is DX10 drivers for the GMA X3100 and 800MHz FSB Penryns for the existing Santa Rosa platform.
