    is it bad to oc almost all the time doing gaming and working on graphical softwares ?

    Hi i was told that i should not do oc all the time and my temp were 75c range on load

    No, it's not bad as long as your temps remain reasonable.

    If they were to go above 80, I would definitely clean up your vents and change your TIM.

    Other than that I have been OC'ing non stop for 3 years and I use my Laptop A LOT. Even keep it on all night very often.

    I second this, Been running my 5870's @ 850/1200 since I got them. Temps are the problem as long as the OC is stable.

    If your GPU's load temps are below 95C, you don't have reason to worry about doing any damage.

    Graphical Softwares? Do you mean games or do you mean something like Photoshop?

    Just a FYI something like photoshop really has not much to gain from overclock. Even the largest file & filter wont get my cpu to 100% on all cores and only takes a second or so to render.

    its not that its bad, as long as you have a stable performance and preferably limited temps (like don't exceed more than 80 the better). whenever you OC or do OC for regular use, i suggest you always monitor the temps, load response and performance consistency.

    is there a software that shows GPU and CPU temp while playing?
