Just posting to see if LotR & EverQuest 2 will work with a 64Mb PCI 3d card or does it need to be on a AGP Slot?? as my main comp is out of action for a while.

    1.73Ghz
    504Mb rAM
    64Mb Video (PCI)

According to the Everquest 2 system requirements page, http://www.eq2online.com/content/everquest2-requirements.php, that system would just bearly meet the minimum requirements for RAM and video. That it is a PCI card should not be a problem.

As for Lord of the Rings, assuming that you mean the beta version of LotR:Online, the system requirements there are the same as Everquest 2 except that they specify an ATI or nVIDIA 64 Mb video card is required. You might still be able to get yours to work in spite of that since it does have the required amount of video RAM.

    Hope that helps.

Keep in mind that otherwise identical cards will perform differently when comparing AGP to PCI. Like if you had a 128mb PCI Fx5200 and an AGP 128mb Fx5200, the PCI one will be considerably slower despite having the same specifications to the casual eye.
