you get it for $60, but you also get an amazon $20 credit for your next video game purchase. pretty cool!

do not buy this junk......................
-
I wonder weather this came about from massive pre-order cancellations..maybe amazon is trying to lure people back....i wouldnt be at all surprised if other companies did the same thing soon.
-
-
Well, MW2 would get all their preorders back if they included dedicated servers... I will be really disappointed if they just shaft the PC gaming community about this whole thing. It's pretty clear it's a strong desire of the community. To ignore fans of the game like that is pathetic.
-
Boycot MW2! ATTICA! ATTICA!
-
TBH, I could care less, but just the principal of it all. I hate it when companies dis the fans. It's a catch-22 though. If they truly lose a lot of sales, then they could just as easily ignore the PC for future releases than change to dedicated servers.
-
Quite simply if IW dont want to really support and encourage the pc community then good ridence to them....as htwingnut stated if they are not prepared to listen to a very loyal fan base then maybe we are better of without them. -

Why don't Activision just give it for 40 bucks rather these sucking promotions and stuff.
-
I Hope then add dedicated support as an addition to the game. I give it a month, and they will come out with an update that will allow dedicated servers along with mod support. They just do not have the resources right now to just add it into the game, since the disks are probably on the production line right now.

Also the dedicated server issue is huge and if you cant understand why then you are a console player and you really shouldn't have any opinion of a PC game on a PC forum. Kthx, bye. -
Im more p o that they charge us $60 and get away with it. I know we get 20 back, but activision still getting us to pay 60 bucks.
-
Signing the petition implies you care enough about the company to help them. I'd prefer a developer tank rather than see them developing PC games merely under threat.
If PC gaming is going to go down, I say we do it nobly, and not begging & pleading. -
-
I'm just gonna buy it off of steam

$20 towards my next video game isn't quite enticing enough.
if it was $20 amazon, i would probably bite.
maybe $25.
yes, the principle of it sucks. it's great when we thought they were making games for *us*. but no, they are making game for *money*. awesome. i remember when we used to love IW... *sigh*... maybe it's time to find a new franchise.
used to love Valve too... now they lost my interest. IW... who is next? who is LEFT? -

Actually Amazon has been doing these deals for a while now.
Get $5 GC for buying GTA: Episode from liberty City
Get $10 GC for buying Assasins Creed 2
Get $10 GC for Tekken 6
You get the picture -
it ain't even enough if they suddenly add the dedicated servers in there, the fact that they did it in the first place is a smack in the face, and a simple addition of a dedicated server which more than likely will work like s**t, because they would have just churned it out to make us happy is no where near enough to get me to buy this POS!
its like getting modern warfare for $40
